Due to celebrate a large milestone with Sitingbourne’s twin town of Ypres in Belgium, Swale Borough Council required a celebratory video showcasing the local town’s highlights and visitor attractions.
Swale Borough Council is the home of Sittingbourne, a small town situated on the South East of England. After World War 2, the local town was ‘twinned’ with Ypres in Belgium – a local heritage which Sittingbourne takes seriously and on this year it was a large milestone for the two towns.
Swale Borough Council required us to spend a few months filming local events, visitor attractions and a final live broadcast event which was shown on local BBC and ITV news stations. The video was then edited together and screened at a large international event in Ypres to show the local town’s heritage and to celebrate the relationship between the two towns.
