How We Work 2017-06-14T07:24:59+00:00

No two projects are the same therefore the way we work with each client is slightly different, however as a general idea of what you can expect when working with us we have come up with a project system which is the same no matter what size your project is. This efficiency ensures that you are going to get the best and correct product upon completion.

Stage 1: Pre-Production and Planning

Once you have contacted us we will send across a short list of questions. This is one of the most important sections of our process because this is where you have the opportunity to write all the details about your project in regards to times, dates, styles of videos you like etc. This is the most valuable time spent on the clients’ part to ensure that we give you a correct quote and that you will get the perfect video for what you need. If we require any further information we will simply contact you directly.

We make a note of everything you’ve described and use the information to form a project proposal which will include a clear project timeline, a project quote and creative details as to what style we’ll look to create.

We send this across to you and if everything is OK we book you in and begin planning your entire project. Upon confirmation we then issue you with a 50% deposit invoice – this must be paid in full at least 5 working days prior to the project start date, otherwise production will not continue on your project.

You will note that on the deposit invoice will also be a charge for a ‘Project Hard-Drive’ which is bought specifically to store all your project files, footage, titles, exports etc and you are given the option to keep this once the project is complete as a form of retaining your own copyright. If you do not want the hard drive we simply keep it at the office in case of future additions or updates.

Stage 2: Production and Post-Production

We will then go through the entire production phase which includes any filming, editing, title animations etc and once completed we will upload your ‘First Draft’ to a private link for you to view.

Here you are able to watch the video and decide upon what changes you would like to make. Now we know nothing in this world is ever perfect the first time round, and this is why we issue a standard ‘One List of Changes’ guarantee to every production (this is inclusive with your project costs) which allows you to make one entire list of changes to the video(s). This list can be as long or as short as you like, but only one single list is permitted so please take your time to have a good look through. Any more changes after this stage will be charged at an additional hourly rate.

Also please note it is only a list of ‘changes’ – this isn’t to be considered a ‘re-edit’ since we will have gone through the preliminary stages by this point to ensure we know exactly what type of video you want.

Stage 3: Project Completion

Having received your list of changes we will then upload the ‘Second Draft’ of your video for you to view and have one final check that everything is fine. Once you sign-off on the video we then issue you with a final 50% completion invoice and once payment is received in full we will email you across all of your final video file formats for you to use.

And that’s it! That is the process that we have used for many years now and it works perfectly for what we do and all of our clients.
