With the specialist Dance College’s infamous end of year show nearing, they were in need of large graphic display videos to be projected on stage for each performance of the night.
Each year Bird College hosts their infamous end of year show where all of the students get a chance to showcase their singing and dancing talents to the rest of the school and general public.
This year they were going to feature a huge projector screen at the back of the stage which they wanted graphics to appear for each dance number. Over a couple of days we sat with the organisers and designed specific animations which would appear on the screen with each performance and replicate the style of the dance or song number.
As well as the video displays, a key requirement was to have a 3D animated graphic which would play on loop as audiences entered and exited the theatre which was in keeping with the ‘seasons’ theme for the year. We created a 3D globe which rotated in outer space and had the seasons change inside as the globe rotated on its axis.
